Luke Schwartz Banned from the European Poker Tour (EPT)

Not one to shy away from controversy, outspoken online star Luke Â"_FullFlush1Â" Schwartz was once again the centre of attention this week after being banned from playing on the European Poker Tour (EPT) for the remainder of the current season.

The opinion-splitting British pro – who last week branded Tom Dwan a ‘spasticÂ' and an ‘arrogant social retardÂ' – was at it again at the EPT London event at the capitalÂ's Hilton Metropole after an altercation over a sandwich saw him escorted off of the premises and subsequently banned from returning.

Having busted out during Day 2 of the EPT Main Event, Schwartz proceeded to grab himself a sandwich, but on being asked to pay for said sandwich, promptly threw a tantrum of Axl Rose proportions. Apparently, Schwartz believed he was entitled to the sandwich for free as a VIP customer – the casino, however, disagreed and the ensuing argument saw Schwartz banned from all future EPT events this year.

SchwartzÂ's latest episode comes just weeks after he was banned from LondonÂ's Vic Casino for refusing to take off his hat, with the pro only able to play in the EPT after friend Eddie Hearn vouched for him and successfully had the ban overturned. Perhaps, for the time being at least, Schwartz will be better off staying behind his monitor.
