MeccaBingo are the latest online bingo providers to join the Apple market, and have just released their new iPhone app.

Rank Group, the MeccaBingo owners, said the app will feature in its new television campaigns, which will give players the chance to win one of ten daily £1,000 jackpots.

MeccaBingo spokesperson Claire Osborne, said, Â"The mobile market is a huge focus for MeccaBingo.com in 2011 with a large number of our customers already playing our slots games on the iPhone. When developing the app, we wanted to create something that not only placed us at the forefront of the mobile gaming market but offered a seamless user experience for our customers whether they're playing online or on their phone.

Community plays a huge part in bingo, with chat rooms sometimes being the highlight of the game for some players; Osborne agreed it was important to focus on that aspect when developing the app and said, Â"building this new application has given us a fantastic opportunity to take this concept one step further with an integrated chat function allowing players to continue to chat while playing bingo wherever they are.Â"

Android users can rest assured that they have not been neglected, as Rank have revealed they will be releasing an app for Android-powered handsets later in the year.
