Liam Gallagher to go Dotty for online bingo?

Rock star Liam Gallagher has been asked to promote online bingo room Dotty Bingo, according to a national newspaper.

The Daily Star are reporting that the former Oasis man has been offered Â"big moneyÂ" to appear in the siteÂ's TV ads.

The paper add that Dotty also want the 39-year-old to record his own bingo calls.

Probably the most high profile celebrity endorsement of an online gambling website is actress Barbara WindsorÂ's promotion of Jackpot Joy, with the former EastEnders and Carry On star appearing in a series of TV ads for the online operators.

Another notable campaign has been the advertising of online bingo room Brits Bingo by Strictly Come Dancing pair Gavin Henson and Katya Virshilas.

Dotty Bingo are currently offering a Best of British promotion, giving players the chance to win prizes including picnic hampers, Only Fools and Horses DVD boxsets and a series of cash bonuses.
