A horse part-owned by 888poker.com secured its first win in a triumph at Wolverhampton last week.
Blazing Knight, which is joint owned by the online poker operators and horse syndicate group Circuit Racing, secured his maiden success in a 6 furlong contest at the all weather course on 27 September.
The horse, which was purchased in April 2012, started running in May and had regustered numerous third place finishes since then, as well as one runner-up spot at Lingfield recently.
Blazing Knight was part of an 888poker promotion offering players the chance to be involved in a horse racing partnership for as little as a dollar.
Circuit Racing, 888poker.com and their shareholders say they are delighted with the horseÂ's performance, which saw it start off in mid-division before making a move for the front two furlongs out, eventually coming through to win having been squeezed and bumped by two other runners.
