Events 17, 18 and 19 are well underway at the Rio in Las Vegas as this yearÂ's WSOP continues in a frantic fashion. Just 15 players remain in Event 17, $1500 buy in No-Limit HoldÂ'em where David Â"BakesÂ" Baker leads the remaining competitors who are competing for the $518,755 prize. Heavyweights Joe Cada and Barry Greenstein still remain in the mix but the likes of Jake Cody and Vanessa Selbst have bowed out.

A bumper crowd of 2,071 players were cut down to just 163 with Chad Eveslage leading the field at the close of the dayÂ's play. Tournament beasts Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Phil Hellmuth, Greg raymer, Annette Obrestad, Antonio Esfandiari, Carter Philips, Scott Clements and Jason Mericer busted out early. Play resumes this Monday at 1pm PT

Event #19 is also well underway with Max Heinzelmann, Ludovic Lacay Andy Frankenberger all performing well and leading the field.
