Action at this summerÂ's World Series of Poker is intense with events crowning champions over the weekend and moving into the final stages today. Players across the globe are battling it out for six figure cash prizes and coveted golden bracelets.

One tournament that concluded over the weekend was Event #38, the $2,500 No Limit HoldÂ'em Four-Handed, which saw Justin Oliver claim the victory, realising a life-long ambition of winning a WSOP bracelet. He beat Nick Schwarmann heads-up to take the first-place prize of $309,071.

Daniel Idema navigated the final dayÂ's play and the 15 other remaining players to emerge victorious in Event #39: $1,500 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better for $184,590. He fought off the challenge of Joseph Hertzog over 90 minutes of play to ensure the victory.

A number of events are currently underway, including Event #40: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, where Nicolas Fierro currently has the chip lead after the end of Day 2. Day 2 of Event #41: $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha (Six-Handed) has also concluded and Steve Gross has emerged in pole position. Matt Matros leads at the end Day 1 of Event #42: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em, which saw 11 hours of gruelling play.
