This summersÂ' World Series of Poker is rapidly approaching its finale with the Main Event scheduled for this Sunday. However there is still plenty of unfinished business in other tournaments.

Event #56: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em is down to a heads-up match, with play due to continue tomorrow. After starting the day with 23 other opponents, Nikolaus Teichert and Vincent Magilo played out 25 hands before the end of the dayÂ's play. They are fighting for a WSOP golden bracelet as well as the first-place prize of $730,756. Teichert is ahead with 7,620,000, compared to MaglioÂ's 5,415,000.

In Event #57: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em the second day of action is at an end where 31 players remain out of the 235 that began the day. Seth Berger currently leads the remaining players, all of which have made the money as the top 81 players from this event will cash. Berger will not be counting his chickens quite yet, with the likes of Joe Serock, Olivier Busquet, Matt Berkey, Grant Levy and the short stacked Sam Trickett all eyeing the final table of 9, to be played out tomorrow afternoon, local time.

Day 1A of Event #58 ($1,111 Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold'em) has now been completed and a field of over two thousand has been cut down to size with just 428 player remaining. Polish pro Mikolaj Zawadzki has a significant lead, amassing a huge stack of 85,225 chips. High profile player who busted out on this first day included Melanie Weisner, Tony Dunst, Erick Lindgren, Pius Heinz, Jennifer Tilly, Dwyte Pilgrim, and Antonio Esfandiari.

Day 1 of Event #59 $2,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball is complete and after eight levels the remaining field is led by Jui Jen Chang. Day 2 is due to start tomorrow afternoon.
