Man United stars sign up for PartyPoker event

A trio of Manchester United legends are set to compete in PartyPoker.comÂ's ‘Road to Old TraffordÂ' poker tournament.

Dwight Yorke, Bryan Robson and Norman Whiteside are the first players confirmed for the low stakes event, which takes place at Old Trafford on 9-10 August.

Players can qualify for the tournament online at PartyPoker.com via daily satellites and weekly qualifiers.

Each $1,575 package includes a $365 main event buy-in, three nightsÂ' hotel accommodation and hospitality, $550spending money and a $35 charity donation.

Successful qualifiers will also get to explore the stadium as part of a behind the scenes VIP tour, as well as having the chance to get their hands on signed Manchester United merchandise.

The Premier League trophy will also be on display during the event.

Direct buy-in is available at the special dedicated site RoadToOldTrafford.com, with the full event package costing £650, with a tournament seat priced at £250.

Former Red Devils captain Robson said: Â"I havenÂ't played poker for a long time so it will be interesting to see how I fare against the professionals.

Â"I have been told that you need to keep your cool and not give too much away, which is also something I was taught when playing football and I am hoping that will help me out on the day!Â"
