Celebrity players confirmed for Malta tournament

Pokerlistings has announced the latest batch of celebrities pencilled in to take part in the second annual Battle of Malta poker tournament, which gets underway later this month. They include adult movie star Puma Swede and the stunt group the Dudesons. The tournament will be held between 26 and 29 September at the Portomaso Casino in St. Julian's, Malta and there will be an enticing €200,000 guarantee for the tournament.

The Dudesons have often been compared to the hit show Jackass PokerListings describe them as: Â"Four dudes from the arctic circle best known for performing extreme stunts & comedic pranks on their numerous reality shows, including The Dudesons in America on MTV.Â"

Finnish Puma Swede has just released her first book titled My Life as a Pornstar.

In 2012 the inaugural tournament saw 349 entries and the tournament organisers are confident of another year of success, describing the tournament as "...a poker holiday that aims to bring the poker community together in the friendliest environment of the industry. The Battle of Malta staff is composed by Tournament Directors Association certified members, poker professionals & staff from all around the world that believe in the integrity of the skill game."
