Mega Millions jackpot hits $216m

TonightÂ's Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $216m after no ticket matched all six numbers in midweek.

TuesdayÂ's draw saw two tickets match five numbers to each win $1m, but none also managed to predict the Mega Ball that would have won them $195m.

The winning numbers on Tuesday were 12-18-25-35-66 with a Mega Ball of 15.

Mega Millions tickets cost $1, with players picking five numbers between 1 and 56 alongside one number between 1 and 46.

For an extra $1 players in most participating states can purchase a Megaplier option which multiplies non-jackpot winnings by two, three, four or five.
