Glasgow slots player wins £16m

A Scottish punter has won over £1.6m on an online slot.

The mystery Glasgow man scooped the prize on just a £1 spin of William HillÂ's Pig Wizard game, which he was playing on his tablet.

The sixty-something Rutherglen resident, who immediately quit his factory job, won £1,659,372 – the biggest ever casino pay out at William Hill.

He is planning a trip to Vegas with his wife, although he also intends to make sure his grown-up child is Â"well looked afterÂ" and give money to other family and friends.
