Lucky slots player wins €56m

An online slot game has paid out a €5.6m jackpot to a 62-year-old in Sweden.

The lucky winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, scooped the huge prize on the Mega Fortune game at Unibet.com.

The player says they are considering putting the money towards helping their family financially as well as taking a holiday with good friends.

Mega Fortune currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest ever jackpot pay-out from an online slot game at €17.9m.

The game was created by suppliers Net Entertainment, whose chief product officer Simon Hammon said: Â"This is the third time Unibet has seen a win on Mega Fortune since we introduced the game and IÂ'm confident many more records will be broken in the months and years to come.Â"
