Which games should you watch today and who should you place a wager on?

news

The MLB has had some pretty impressive games to start the season and today there are definitely a few games that you should be watching. Not only that, we have a few picks for the games that we think are "must-watch" games.

With so many games to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. However, we think these games give you the best chance to earn some winnings at the sportsbook. So, let's get started with our first game of the day.

Minnesota Twins at Boston Red Sox - April 15 @ 11:10 AM PT

The Twins have had an interesting start to the season, to say the least. They're currently 2-4 and are on a two-game losing streak after losing 7-0 to the Los Angeles Dodgers. In the last game, they lost to the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw, the Dodgers pitcher, pitched seven perfect innings against them. Normally, the Twins are a strong batting team, but they've fallen off of that wagon. Today, they get a chance to bounce back as they face the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox are 3-3 and have won their last two games, both of which were against the Detroit Tigers. Starting on the mound for the Red Sox is the 0-1 Nick Pivetta, who has thrown four strikeouts in 5.2 innings. The Twins will start Joe Ryan (0-1) on the mound for them. Each of these teams struggles in terms of pitching so we could see a lot of runs tonight. We feel like the home team is the better bet here, so we'll take the Boston Red Sox.

Ricky's Pick - Boston Red Sox -135 Moneyline

Atlanta Braves at San Diego Padres - April 15 @ 6:40 PM PT

Our other game to watch is between the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres. The Braves, who lost the first game of this series, will try to bounce back from a 12-1 loss. Atlanta is 3-5 this season and the recent loss made it two in a row. On the mound for Atlanta is the 1-0 Kyle Wright, who will attempt to get his second win of the season.

The Padres as a team have a .256 batting average and recently decimated the Atlanta Braves. Leading the batters is Eric Hosmer, with a .462 batting average this season. Relying on great appearances at the plate should lead the Padres to another win at home. Especially since Ronald Acuna Jr. is on the 10-Day IL for the Atlanta Braves.
