Between the Heat vs. 76ers and the Suns vs. Mavericks, who's the best pick?

With the NBA Conference Semifinals heating up, we have two games today that bettors will want to pay attention to. The first game of the night is the Miami Heat vs. Philadelphia 76ers, so we'll start there.

Miami Heat at Philadelphia 76ers - 7:00 PM ET

Miami has jumped out to a 2-0 lead in this series, putting a lot of pressure on Philadelphia. However, they'll be without Kyle Lowry tonight, which could be trouble. Over the course of the series, the Heat have averaged 112.50 points per game (ppg), while holding the 76ers under 100 ppg.  

The 76ers are said to be without Joel Embiid again tonight, leaving them without their interior presence. Tyrese Maxey has emerged as the leader of the team with fans wondering when James Harden will step up. Tonight, he'll have the perfect chance to take over the game at home. It'll be a close one, but we'll take the 76ers +3.5 tonight.

Phoenix Suns vs. Dallas Mavericks - 9:30 PM ET

The second game of the night is between the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks. The Suns, similar to the Heat are up 2-0 in this series and searching for a third. The offense of the Suns has been spectacular, averaging 125 ppg over the first two games of the series. Surprisingly enough, they come in as underdogs tonight, but only by 0.5-points.

The Dallas Mavericks desperately need help to get their offense on track. Luka Doncic has been pulling his weight, but his teammates haven't. To beat the Suns, you need more than just great defense, you need to put up points. The Mavericks have averaged 111.5 ppg so far in this series.
