The Eastern and Western Conference Semifinals in the NBA continues today with two key games. Let's do a quick preview of each game and I'll give you my picks for the day.
Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks - 7:30 PM ET
The first game of the day takes place between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics are down 2-1 in the series, but narrowly took the lead in Game 3. They've found ways to slow the offense of the Bucks, forcing them to average just 96.6 points per game. Unfortunately, they haven't performed too well on offense either.
The Milwaukee Bucks have done a good job to stave off the offense of the Boston Celtics. Most of this is due to the matchup of Giannis Antetokounmpo versus Jayson Tatum. The Bucks are a much more physical team and have the advantage of playing at home. However, we think Boston will tie the series tonight with a key win on the road.
Ricky's Pick - Boston Celtics +1
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Golden State Warriors - 10:00 PM ET
Following shortly after the Celtics and Bucks game is the Memphis Grizzlies versus the Golden State Warriors. The Grizzlies, much like the Celtics are down 2-1 in the series. In even worse news, it's unlikely that Ja Morant will take the court tonight after suffering an injury in Game 3. The Grizzlies suffered an abysmal 142-112 loss in Game 3.
The Warriors come into this game as 10.5-point favorites today, quite a large spread to cover. However, without Morant in the lineup for the Grizzlies, the Warriors should be able to cover. Golden State has averaged 120 points per game this series while allowing an average of 111.33. We'll take the Warriors to cover the 10.5 points spread at home tonight.
Ricky's Pick - Golden State Warriors -10.5
