After a request to leave Manchester United, Chelsea could receive an offer for the superstar forward.

Although no formal offers have been made, Cristiano Ronaldo has noted he's willing to play for Chelsea F.C. It will be up to the club to make an offer that would entice Manchester United and Ronaldo.

Ronaldo informed United of his desire to leave in pursuit of Champions League football. However, many believe that the aging Ronaldo has limited options as he already earns £500,000 a week and is 37 years old.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have been mentioned as possible destinations for Ronaldo. Sources have told ESPN that contact has been made between Ronaldo's representative, Jorge Mendes, and new Chelsea chairman Todd Boehly.

Ronaldo scored 24 goals in 38 appearances for United, but rumors have circulated of dressing room disagreements. United has stated previously that they're not interested in releasing Ronaldo despite the player being given permission to miss training on Monday.

There are suggestions Ronaldo could be willing to take a pay cut to ensure he can play in the Champions League. At this point, it's up to Chelsea to actually make an offer should they want to add him. 

Chelsea has made a £60m offer for Leeds United winger Raphinha while also negotiating with Manchester City to sign forward Raheem Sterling.

There has been a lot of news surrounding Chelsea this year as the team has a new owner as well. The club has also entered a partnership with DraftKings and cryptocurrency trading platform WhaleFin.

During the next season, you'll see the WhaleFin logo on the sleeve of Chelsea jerseys.
