Juan Soto was definitely the most notable trade as the Padres had to lose a lot of players to acquire him. Overall, these are the players that have left the Padres after the trade:

Losing two pitchers in the trade is tough on the Padres, especially with MacKenzie Gore leaving the rotation. Gore was a fairly consistent pitcher with a 4-4 record this season and an ERA of 4.50.
The good news is with adding Soto, the Padres added another heavy hitter to its lineup. Soto has a batting average of .246 this season and has hit 21 home runs, tied for 17th in MLB.
Soto joins up with Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Deigo Padres. Many believe with these three together, the Padres could make a run to the World Series.
We feel that their best signing was actually Josh Hader, who got a win in his Padres debut over the Colorado Rockies. Hader has 29 saves this season, ranking first in Major League Baseball.
