Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams Betting Preview
Ricky Gray | September 8, 2022
The first game of the NFL season kicks off with a big one.
We likely couldn’t ask for a better game than the Buffalo Bills at the Los Angeles Rams to begin the season. Each of these teams has the chance to be Super Bowl contenders this year.
The Buffalo Bills finished the season with an 11-6 record and won the AFC East. However, they were unable to capitalize in the playoffs and fell short of the Super Bowl.
This year, Josh Allen and the rest of the Bills offense is looking to push further into the postseason. They actually come in as favorites to win the Super Bowl this year.
The reason for this is their high-powered offense that averaged 28.4 points per game, ranking third in the NFL. Allen himself averaged 252 yards passing yards per game last season.
Their defense is strong as well, allowing an average of 17 points per game last year. With the combination of offense and defense, the Bills are poised for a strong year.
To win this game, the Bills will need to get a quick start against the Rams. Los Angeles, the former Super Bowl winner, has one of the most intense defenses in the NFL.
With players like Aaron Donald and Leonard Floyd in the trenches, expect the Rams to try and get after Josh Allen early. If they put enough pressure on him, they could get a few turnovers.
Offensively, the Buffalo Bills have a slight edge over the Los Angeles Rams. Los Angeles lost Odell Beckham Jr., leaving them with Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson III.
The Rams come into this game as 2.5-point underdogs but we’ll go with the Bills on the road over the Rams tonight.
Ricky’s Pick: Buffalo Bills -2.5, UNDER
