Tennessee Titans at Green Bay Packers Preview

Can Derrick Henry lead the Titans to a win on the road Thursday night?
The Tennessee Titans have a fairly impressive record this season at 6-3 but they face some tough competition tonight as they head to Green Bay.
After earning a 17-10 win over the Denver Broncos last week, they’ll look to move to 7-3 and keep a firm hold on the AFC South.
The good news for the Titans is that their position in the division isn’t under any real threat at the moment. They have a two-game lead over the closest team, the Indianapolis Colts.
Now, what the Titans do best is run the football, which is no secret. This season, led by Derrick Henry, the Titans are averaging 133.4 rushing yards per game.
There are a few things to address, however, especially in terms of injuries. Linebacker Bud Dupree is out, Safety Amani Hooker is out, Center Ben Jones is out as well.
With so many players sidelined, the Titans could be in a bit of trouble, especially on defense. This is likely why the Titans are coming into the game as three-point underdogs.
The Green Bay Packers have had their fair share of struggles as well, especially on offense. As a team, they’re averaging just 18.5 points per game.
Keep in mind that they’re coming off a big win over the Dallas Cowboys in overtime last week. With a 4-6 record this season, the Packers have a 3-2 record at home.
Although they’re 1-4 in their last five games, the Packers are still three-point favorites to win tonight and the question is, why?
One reason is because of their win over the Cowboys, the other reason is that QB Aaron Rodgers is starting to connect with his wide receivers.
The Packers have a few players that are sidelined as well, this includes De’Vondre Campbell, the starting linebacker and Romeo Doubs, a starting wide receiver.
Still, even with the injuries, the Green Bay Packers are our pick to win this game.
