Rudy Gay and Mike Conley (Jazz) are ruled out for tonight.

The Utah Jazz have won their last two games of the season, both against pretty good teams. Tonight, they’ll face a tough opponent in the Los Angeles Clippers.

With Rudy Gay and Mike Conley both ruled out, the Jazz will be without two of their strongest players. Mike Conley leads the team in assists per game at (7.9) while Gay is one of the better defenders.

As a team, the Jazz average 117.6 points per game, one of the best scoring offenses in the league. Leading the team is Laur Markkanen, who averages 22.3 points per game.

As they prepare to face the LA Clippers, the Jazz will need all they can get from their offense. At the moment, Paul George (LAC) is still listed as “day-to-day” so keep that in mind.

The most notable win for the Jazz in their last five games was the win over the Phoenix Suns. Finding a way to beat them 134-133 is pretty impressive, especially since Devin Booker put up 49 points.

The Los Angeles Clippers have gone 3-2 over the course of their last five games. Their win over the San Antonio Spurs is their most recent win, beating San Antonio 119-97.

There are a few losses to pay attention to, however, one was to the Dallas Mavericks and the other was to the Brooklyn Nets.

The Clippers are one of the lowest-scoring teams in the NBA, averaging just 105.2 points per game. With Kawhi Leonard on limited minutes, we’re not surprised they’re struggling.

Paul George leads the team with 23.6 points per game but it hasn’t always resulted in wins for the team. Even with him in the lineup, the Clippers are in for a tough game.

This will be a close game but we’ll go with the Jazz on the road over the Clippers.
