San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals Betting Preview
Ricky Gray | November 21, 2022
The Mexico City meeting between these two teams should be a good one.
The NFC West is a pretty tight race and it’s likely to get more intense as the San Francisco 49ers face the Arizona Cardinals tonight.
With a record of 5-4, the 49ers are ready to put their defense to the test against the Cardinals. They’ll need a bit of help from their offense though, which has definitely improved.
The addition of Christian McCaffrey has really helped out the 49ers who have won back-to-back games. Their most recent win was against the Los Angeles Chargers on November 13.
They beat the Chargers 22-16 in another showing of just how good the 49ers defense is. On average, the 49ers allow just 18.1 points per game, ranking sixth in the NFL.
Their offense could be better but it’s averaging 22 points per game, which isn’t bad. They rank 13th in the NFL in rushing yards per game, averaging 123.7 yards per game.
One question that lingers over the Arizona Cardinals is whether Kyler Murray will play tonight. Odds are that he will but if he ends up being out, the 49ers odds should go up.
At the moment, the 49ers are ten-point favorites heading into this game which is a lot of points to cover. They’re definitely a good team but covering ten points isn’t something we see them doing.
You have to keep in mind that the Cardinals are coming off a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. In this huge win, they didn’t have Kyler Murray, instead, they had Colt McCoy under center.
Look for the Cardinals to cover the spread here, even if they lose the game.
Ricky’s Pick: Arizona Cardinals +10, UNDER
