The Clippers are without three key players in tonight's game.

The Los Angeles Clippers are a good basketball team but injuries haven’t been kind to them. Today, they come into their game against the Portland Trail Blazers missing several players.

Their leading scorer, Paul George, who averages 23.6 points per game, has been ruled out for this evening's matchup. Both Kawhi Leonard and John Wall were also ruled out.

This isn’t to say that they can’t be competitive, as they’re coming off a win over the Indiana Pacers. The only problem is the Trail Blazers aren’t dealing with as many injuries.

The Clippers come into today’s game as 3.5-point underdogs and shouldn’t be underestimated. They’ve won three of their last five games, one of which was over the Utah Jazz.

Dealing with these injuries will be tough, especially as they’re playing on the road already. They have a 5-4 record on the road this season and they’re second in the Pacific Division.

The looming question is who will step up in the absence of their top players? Reggie Jackson is an option but he’s more likely to distribute the ball than lead the team in scoring.

The Portland Trail Blazers have a record of 11-9 this season and have lost four of their last five games. They can’t blame the losses on injuries, however, as this team is pretty healthy.

Anfernee Simons leads the team in scoring, averaging 23.2 points per game. The team as a group averages 109.7 points per game.

This is a tough one to call but we’ll go with the Portland Trail Blazers at home -3.5.
