Boston Celtics at Los Angeles Clippers Betting Preview
Ricky Gray | December 13, 2022
The Celtics have gone 3-1 over the course of their last four games.

This season, the Boston Celtics have a record of 21-6 and are leading the Eastern Conference. As one of the top teams, they now have a target on their back.
Today, they’ll face the Los Angeles Clippers, a team that has a 15-13 record and has gone 2-3 over the course of their last five games.
The most recent game for the Boston Celtics, was a 123-107 loss to the Golden State Warriors, a game in which Jaylen Brown led the team in scoring.
Unfortunately for the Celtics, even Browns' impressive 31-point game wasn’t enough for Boston to pull off a win.
Today, the Celtics will need to focus more on shutting the Clippers’ offense down. Leading the Clippers in scoring is Paul George, who averages 21.6 points per game.
As a team, however, the Clippers aren’t known for being a high-scoring group. On average, they put up only 107.7 points per game, so keep that in mind when betting.
The Boston Celtics, however, are averaging 120.3 points per game which is one of the highest-scoring teams in the league.
To stay ahead of the Clippers today, the Celtics need to focus on controlling the interior. However, they’ll be without Al Horford and Robert Williams III, two starting centers.
With them out, the Clippers will likely be able to work the ball inside more frequently. This is where the Clippers definitely have an edge over the Celtics tonight.
The Clippers are 3.5-point underdogs here but we think they’ll actually pull this game off and come away with a win tonight.
Ricky’s Pick: Los Angeles Clippers +3.5, UNDER
