Bored woman becomes bingo millionaire

An Oxfordshire woman has won £1.3m playing online bingo after taking to the game to escape Euro 2012.

Lisa Potter was bored after being ignored by her football-engrossed husband, leading her to place a £5 stake at Ladbrokes Bingo.

With just her second spin she won the huge rollover jackpot – the third highest in the gameÂ's history – making her an instant millionaire.

She plans to spend the money on a new house and car, as well as a family holiday.

"I had a spare minute and wanted to get away from the football so logged on. As soon as I saw the size of the jackpot I thought it was worth a go and couldn't believe my eyes when it said I'd won,Â" she said.

"I can't remember much after that as it's such a blur. My kids came into the room and we all started screaming together - it's like a madhouse in here."
