Tennessee Titans at Buffalo Bills NFL Betting Preview

 | September 16, 2022

To win this one, Derrick Henry (TEN) needs to have an incredible game.

The Tennessee Titans head into the Monday Night Football game with an 0-1 record to start the year. Their offense looked great in the first half last week but struggled through the second.

Ryan Tannehill, went 20-33 with 266 yards and two touchdowns. Although he had a pretty good game, the Titans are known for their rushing offense, which there was a lack of.

Derrick Henry, the team's workhorse had 21 carries for 82 yards last week. Because of this, they couldn’t establish a dominant rushing attack.

The Titans still has several players listed as “questionable” for Monday night’s game. Offensive Tackle Taylor Lewan, is a vital part of the Tennessee rushing offense and they’ll need him.

They’ll also need a lot more help from their defense, which allowed 21 points in the second half last week. They’re playing the Buffalo Bills, a team that is well known for lighting up the scoreboard.

The Bills got off to a fast start in Week 1, beating the Los Angeles Rams 31-10. QB Josh Allen went 26-31 with 297 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Although he threw two interceptions, the Bills defense surrendered only 10 points, all of which were scored in the second quarter.

For the final half of the game, the Bills defense didn’t budge, they forced three turnovers last week, something they’ll look to do against the Titans in Week 2.

The Bills are primarily known for being a passing team and they’ll likely focus on that again this week. They come in as 10-point favorites and a high percentage of bets have been placed on them.

At home, the Buffalo Bills have always performed well but the Titans' style is to take a lot of time off of the clock. We’re going to go with the upset here and take the Titans on the road +10.
